Refund Policy – Sweet Audio Media

At Sweet Audio Media, we strive to deliver the best quality music distribution services to our artists, labels, and partners. Please read our refund policy carefully before availing of our services. By signing up with us, you agree to the following terms.


No Return & Refund on Services

Services once purchased from Sweet Audio Media are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the specific cases mentioned below.


Refunds (If Applicable)

Refund Request Timeline

  • A refund request can only be raised before your song’s status changes to Processed / QC Pending / QC Approved.

  • Once the status changes to Completed, no refund will be possible.

Delayed Publishing

  • If your song does not go live on any platform within 15 days of upload, you will receive a full refund (subject to verification that the delay was not caused by user error or non-working days/holidays as defined below).

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after approval.

Removal by Us (Operational Reasons)

  • If Sweet Audio Media removes your song from platforms for internal operational reasons (other than QC rejection or user-caused issues), a refund may be issued after investigation.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after approval.

Defects

  • Refunds may be provided in case of confirmed technical faults or defects on our side.

  • Expired subscriptions are non-refundable.

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.


QC (Quality Check) — IMPORTANT (No Refund)

  • If your uploaded song does not pass our internal Quality Check (QC), it is not eligible for refund.

  • QC failure may occur for reasons including (but not limited to) audio quality issues, metadata non-compliance, artwork issues, third-party matches, or other non-compliance with platform/content guidelines.

  • In case of QC failure, the user may be advised to correct and resubmit the content; however, no refund will be issued for QC rejection.

  • The one-time dashboard setup fee is non-refundable even if the content fails QC.


No Refund in the Following Cases

Refunds will not be provided in these situations:

  • Forced removal by the uploader.

  • Removal by third parties due to copyright or rights violations.

  • Misuse, abuse, or use of offensive/abusive language.

  • After one month of subscription purchase.

  • Cover songs uploaded without proper authorization.

  • Any unauthorized uploads or cover songs without proper rights.

  • Content rejected during QC (as stated above).

  • Delays caused by user errors (incorrect metadata, artwork, third-party matches, AI-generated content issues, etc.).

  • Delays resulting from Saturdays, Sundays, or official holidays (see Working Days & Hours below).


User Responsibility — Additional Terms

  1. Copyright & Third-Party Matches: If a user uploads copyrighted material without proper rights, or if the uploaded content triggers a third-party match that causes rejection or delay, the user is fully responsible. No refund will be issued for such cases.

  2. Metadata / Artwork / Submission Errors: Any delay or rejection caused by incorrect metadata, poor artwork, wrong file formats, or incomplete submission details is the responsibility of the user — no refund will be granted.

  3. AI-Generated Content: If content is AI-generated and causes rejection, match or policy issues, the user bears responsibility and cannot claim a refund.

  4. One-Time Setup Fee: The dashboard one-time setup fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  5. Service Requests & Holidays: Requests for distribution or support submitted on Saturdays, Sundays, or official holidays will be processed on the next working day. Delays caused by weekends/holidays are not eligible for refunds.


Working Days & Hours

  • Our official working days and hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time).

  • No distribution or processing takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, or official holidays. Customers must allow for working-day timelines when calculating delivery expectations.


Content Not Eligible for Distribution or Refund

As per Sweet Audio Media’s content guidelines, the following types of content will not be accepted for distribution and will not be eligible for refund:

  • Songs containing brand names

  • Prank or misleading content

  • Political content

  • Advertisements or corporate jingles/voiceovers

  • National anthems

  • Current affairs or protest-related content

  • Offensive or abusive language

  • IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) content

Such content is non-compliant and will be rejected without refund.
